Primary Structures, named after an early description of Minimalist art, examines the interplay between 2D shapes and their 3D possibilities. Though simple at first glance, they reveal a deeper visual complexity that questions our expectations of form. The flat section, positioned next to its dimensional counterpart, probes illusions of depth that do not exist. Paired with the two tone color scheme, the works begins to generate movement and energy.
