The Fin Vessel, made from Infinity Stone Marble, highlights a technique used in stone fabrication called 'finning', whereby to efficiently remove material from a block, blade cuts are made around the desired object, and then broken off with a hammer and chisel. This object retains the fins as well as providing a glimpse of the 'intended' final object.
